Inside, fans could immerse themselves in the history of the brand, see the magic behind mt tape production, and even take part in some fan-favourite activities like the famous Gacha Gacha machines, mt lottery, and a catching tape challenge – all adding a playful twist to the day.This year, the mt factory tour featured Taro Komiya's installations, which explore themes of perception and illusion through his signature use of masking tape. His work invites viewers to rethink their understanding of space and reality.
Visitors also had a chance to shop exclusive products at the Ennichi & Outlet shop, where limited-edition designs and mt classics flew off the shelves. With over 160,000 rolls of tape sold during the tour, it’s clear that mt Masking Tape has secured a special place in the hearts of fans worldwide. Additionally, the event showcased the artwork from the mt Art Contest, celebrating the creativity of participants. Winners of the contest were announced, highlighting their exceptional designs and innovative uses of mt masking tape.
